  1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to your enrolment in any online course offered by Childcare Ready("we", "us", "our"). By enrolling in a course and completing payment, you ("you", "the student") agree to these terms. Please read them before you pay.

2, The course

We provide online access to the Provider Knowledge Assessment exam preparation course ("the Course"). The Course is delivered online and includes video lessons recorded in advance, available in English or Chinese, together with practice and mock test materials. The Course is educational and is intended to help you prepare for the Provider Knowledge Assessment.

3, Enrolment and payment

Payment for the Course is made through Stripe and is due in full before access is granted. We are not registered for GST, so no GST applies. Your enrolment is confirmed once we receive your payment.

4, Course access

After your payment is confirmed, we grant access by inviting your nominated Google or Gmail account to the Course on YouTube Private. You will usually receive your access within 24 hours, often much sooner. Your access continues for 12 months from the date your payment is confirmed. After 12 months your access ends unless you renew.

5, Your account and access credentials

Access is granted to one nominated account for your personal use only. You must keep your access details secure and must not share them with anyone else. You are responsible for providing a correct account at enrolment.

6, Acceptable use

The Course is for your personal use only. You must not copy, download, record, screen capture, share, resell, sublicense, broadcast or distribute any part of the Course, its videos, materials or questions, or give any other person access to your account. Breaking this clause is a serious breach of these terms.

7, Intellectual property

All Course content, including videos, scripts, materials, images and questions, is owned by us and protected by copyright. Your enrolment gives you a limited, personal licence to view the content during your access period. This licence cannot be transferred, and no ownership of any content passes to you.

8, No guarantee of results

The Course is designed to help you prepare for the Provider Knowledge Assessment. We do not guarantee that you will pass the assessment or achieve any particular result. Your outcome depends on your own preparation and performance.

9, Refunds

Because the Course is a digital product that you can access immediately on enrolment, the Course fee is not refundable once access has been granted, except where a refund is required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a consumer guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying the Course or refunding the fee you paid, at our option.

10, Referral and review rewards

From time to time we may offer a referral reward or a reward for leaving a review. Any such reward is offered under its own separate conditions, which we will make available when the offer is running. We may change or withdraw these offers at any time.

11, Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 9, our total liability to you in connection with the Course is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

12, Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access without a refund if you breach clause 5, clause 6 or clause 7. Ending your access does not affect any rights we have accrued before that date.

13, Privacy

We collect your name, email and nominated account details so we can provide the Course and support you. We handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

14, Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to you is the one published on our website at the time you enrol.

15, Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
